The tallgrass prairie ecosystem has become one of the rarest in the world, with less than 1% remaining in the Red River Valley. Pollinators, grassland birds, and waterfowl populations are in rapid decline as more habitat disappears every year. 

United Prairie Foundation addresses this problem by putting boots on the ground to prevent and reverse the disappearance of native plant species that pollinators, birds, waterfowl, and all creatures depend on.
